The Alu pro frying pans from Demeyere
I made this recipe in collaboration with Demeyer. They gave me these beautiful Alu Pro 5 frying pans to work with.
Demeyere has been known for years for its high-quality cookware, and the Alu Pro 5 frying pan set is no exception. These pans, with their Duraslide Titanium finish, provide an unparalleled non-stick experience, so you only need a little fat to fry. This makes cooking not only easier, but also healthier!
The Alu Pro pans have a special 'radiant' bottom. As a result, they heat up super quickly and the bottom is guaranteed to remain flat. Very nice if you cook on electricity or induction!
The best thing about these pans? They are not only functional, but also beautifully designed. With an elegant stainless steel handle that fits comfortably in the hand. And what better way to try them out than with a delicious meatballs in mint sauce recipe?

In the video below you can see in a minute how I make the meatballs in mint sauce:
Ingredients:
- 500 grams of minced beef
- 1 beaten egg
- 50 grams of breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 finely chopped onion
- 1 crushed garlic clove
- 1 finely chopped jalapeño pepper
- Juice and grated zest of one lime
- Small bunch of finely chopped cilantro
- Small bunch of finely chopped parsley
- 50 gr butter
- 20 mint leaves
- 1 clove garlic
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- Juice of half a lemon
- 150 ml Greek Yoghurt

Preparation meatballs with mint sauce:
1. Mix the minced beef with the egg, breadcrumbs, salt, black pepper, onion, garlic, jalapeño pepper, lime juice and zest, coriander and parsley.
2. Knead the minced meat well and shape it into balls.
3. Melt the butter in a frying pan over low heat and fry the meatballs in it. After about 20 minutes they are perfectly cooked and golden brown.
4. While the meatballs are baking, make the mint sauce. Put the mint leaves in a mortar together with a clove of garlic, salt and olive oil. Grind this finely until you get a smooth sauce.
5. Add the lemon juice to the mint oil and stir well.
6. Spoon the Greek Yoghurt into a bowl and pour the mint oil over it. Stir together a bit if necessary.
7. Serve the meatballs warm with the mint sauce – enjoy your meal!
