Make jerk marinade
You make these burgers by mixing minced chicken with the famous Jamaican jerk marinade. This normally has to be absorbed for a very long time, because it goes onto the meat. We mix it in with the minced meat, so you can start baking immediately. So handy!

Preparation Jerk chicken burgers
Mix the minced chicken with an egg and 2 tablespoons of my traditional Jerk spice mix . Add breadcrumbs to keep the mixture firm. Divide the mixture into 8 balls and press them as flat as possible. Cook the burgers in oil or butter over medium heat for a few minutes until done.
Then cut the onions into half rings and fry them over low heat in some butter or oil with a pinch of salt. After about 10 minutes on low heat, the onions will be caramelized and sweet.
Slice the mango and use the smaller pieces that remain to make the spiced mango mayo according to our recipe.
Assemble the jerk chicken burgers as follows:
Half a hamburger bun, mayo, lettuce leaf, mango slice, chicken burger, slice of cheddar, some onion rings, tomato slice, mayo, hamburger bun. Enjoy your meal!
